National Science Day 2019
Science Day was celebrated on 28th February 2019 in G,V.M.'s Dr, Dada Vaidya College of Education.This year the theme for the Science Day was 'Exploring Science'.
The preparations for the 'Science Day' had begun one month prior to the scheduled program.Each and every student of Science was allotted some sort of responsibilities.My responsibility was to perform the Lava Lamp experiment at the Sci-fun Corner.
The Chief Guest for the function was 'Dr. Uday Gaonkar' who lighted the lamp and inaugurated the function thus declaring open the Science Mela showcasing various exhibits The program commenced with the welcome song by the science students followed by the formal function.
The attraction centre for the Science Day was the library being converted into Space Arena displaying the mesmerizing marine underwater scenes and planetarium.Apart from this there was Science Quiz corner and other demos.Students from other methods had also performed on this day illustrating the use of Science in their teaching methods which was a great achievement to relate collaboration of Science with other subjects.
The program concluded with vote of thanks and with our token of love to our lovely Ma'am 'Dr. Anna Neena George' without whose constant support and advice remarkable success of Science Day
celebration was not possible.
