BIRD WATCHING & STAR GAZING
Bird watching program was arranged for all G.V.M.'s students on 26th January 2019.The location for bird watching was Karmali at Carambolim lake.We had witnessed different migratory birds which were unknown to us. And this was possible because of People in assocition with Goa bird conservation network.The day at Carambolim lake was mesmerizing gaining the knowledge to identify the birds and knowing their names.
On the same night we had also enjoyed star gazing conducted by Public Astronomical Observatory in Association of Friends of Astronomy.This program gave the depth knowledge of our own solar system , stars and constellations followed by learning how to locate and identify some of the constellations.We were lucky enough to see the through telescope.
